THE GROSULEAC FAMILY

The Grosuleac family
Another project supported by the Metropolis Philanthropic Foundation is represented by the situation of the Grosuleac Family.

The foundation members met this family in 2000 while they were living in an apartment taken on lease on behalf of a foundation. Mr. Grosuleac was taking care not only of his two sons but also of his nephews who came from families benefiting from minimum income schemes. Mr. Grosuleac was supported by a foundation which was taking care of the extended family needs and he believed he could provide a better life to his nephews.

Subsequent to the social survey carried out the Metropolis Philanthropic Foundation decided to support the Grosuleac Family in terms of financial and material necessities of life.

Consequently, children are currently provided a safe environment and a place to live as the foundation is paying for the apartment rent, for the children's private lessons, medical care, as well as psychological and legal services (where appropriate).

The Metropolis Philanthropic Foundation employed skilled personnel in order to support the children, on an educational basis and as far as housekeeping is concerned.
